报告人简介：

杨英锐，美国伦斯勒理工学院认知科学系教授，清华大学伟伦特聘访问教授，美国纽约大学认知与实验心理学博士，是国际知名的推理心理学与高阶认知模型前沿学者之一。他的心智元逻辑理论，心智决策逻辑理论和量子认知理论均为开创性工作,并被应用于教育，国防与经济学等领域。曾任多届美国认知科学年会的推理分会主席或决策分会主席，已在美国权威学术期刊包括“心理学评论”、“认知科学”和“记忆与认知”上发表50余篇论文。

报告摘要：

This talk will try to cover four logic topics related to the foundation of economics. Topic 1: Mental Decision Logic. Game theory and decision theory are standard languages in modern economics; we show how to do the formal transformations between game theory, decision theory, and mental logic theory.  Topic 2: The Small-Grand World problem by Savage is an open conjecture in modern decision theory. We provide a formal language and a psychological mechanism toward the solution of this problem. Topic 3:  The consumption theory in microeconomics starts from “n-goods”. We address a number of logical and mathematical issues concerning the utility theory from observational perspectives, and show how it related to quantum logic theory by von Neumann.  Topic 4: Samuelson’s revealed preference has been introduced as a cornerstone in the consumption theory. We define the notion of revealed modal preference based on the possible world semantics, which can be used to model the so-called ‘potential market’.
